看完電影那天，我才發現自己這輩子都把 merry-go-round 聽成 Mary go around。
我還以為是那個帶羊的小女孩在轉圈圈。
直到昨天我坐上去，才知道——
不是 Mary 在轉，
是我自己在轉。

旋轉木馬這東西很奇怪：
你看不見自己騎的是哪匹馬，
你卻能感覺到牠的呼吸、牠的節奏、牠的安全感。
每轉一圈，景色一樣，但我的心不一樣。
所以每一圈都像新的旅程。

那一刻我突然懂了：
merry 不是開心，是「覺得自己在活著」的那種喜悅。
Mary 是故事，
Merry 是狀態。
而我昨天坐在木馬上那個瞬間——
我不是在玩，我在「重生」。

🫧 Merry Mary-Go-Around

For years I thought "merry-go-round" was “Mary go around”—
the little girl with the sheep spinning forever.
Only yesterday did I realize it wasn’t Mary spinning.
It was me.

You can’t see the horse you’re riding,
yet you can feel its rhythm,
its rise and fall,
the way it holds you steady.
Each loop is the same scenery,
but never the same heart.

And that’s when it clicked:
merry is not “happy.”
It’s the joy of knowing you’re alive.
Mary is a character.
Merry is a state of being.

Yesterday, on that wooden horse,
I wasn’t playing.
I was returning to myself.

メリーゴーラウンド

ずっと “merry-go-round” を “Mary go around” だと思っていた。
羊を連れたあの女の子がぐるぐる回っているイメージで。
でも昨日乗ってわかった。
回っていたのは Mary じゃなくて「私」だった。

自分の乗っている馬は見えないのに、
脚に伝わる感触、
上下するリズム、
安心感だけははっきりしている。
景色は同じでも、心が変われば一周ごとに世界も変わる。

その瞬間気づいた。
merry は「楽しい」ではなく、「生きている実感」なんだ。
Mary は物語、
Merry は状態。

あの木馬に座った私は、
遊んでいたんじゃない。
生まれ直していたんだ。
