🎐 XC Scribbles 090 - ✨ Not Everyone Needs to Like Me
I’ve learned to accept something simple: not every relationship needs effort, not every person needs to understand me.
I used to smooth things over emotions, awkward silences, expectations that weren’t mine. I thought that was maturity.
Now I know it was self-exhaustion.
The world is full of frequencies. Some align with mine. Some don’t. Forcing connection only drains both sides.
Not everyone needs to like me that was never my responsibility. And I don’t need to like everyone.
Distance is not rejection. It’s breathing room.
Freedom isn’t being accepted by all. It’s no longer abandoning myself.
