🎐 XC Scribbles 089 - ✨ About the Things I Honestly Don’t Find Beautiful
To be honest, there are artworks I simply don’t find beautiful. Books I cannot finish. Films I truly don’t understand why they are celebrated.
This is not a rejection of diversity. I know that almost everything that exists does so for a reason.
But I’ve learned something important: not everything that is praised needs to be accepted by me.
Fame and success often come from exchanges we cannot see time, compromise, connections, markets, invisible costs. I don’t envy them.
Every success is an equal trade.
I just don’t need to convince myself to like something that carries no beauty or resonance for me.
Not accepting is not denying existence. It is simply choosing honesty with my own perception.
This isn’t arrogance. It’s clarity. Once you’ve truly seen beauty, it’s hard to pretend that everything feels the same.
