🎐 XC Scribbles 036 - ✨ The Overlooked Butt

When I used to ride horses, my favorite parts to touch were their necks and their butts.

Warm. Plump. Like freshly steamed glutinous rice cakes. In winter, they’d even release a thin layer of white mist.

A horse’s butt is always warm as if it hides the sun inside its muscles. Until one day, I accidentally touched my own butt, …cold!

The kind of chill that feels like life whispering to me: “You haven’t exercised in a long time, kid.” After that, I started regularly checking my butt temperature, like I was running some secret scientific experiment.

And I discovered this: as long as I move, walk, and get active, it turns warm again. But when I stay still, it becomes like a half-frozen block of tofu.

That made me suddenly curious: why do animals have such even body temperatures, while humans are like the Earth, divided into cold zones, temperate zones, and tropical zones? Is the butt the body’s most honest monitoring device? Could it be hiding signals that even blood tests can’t detect?

The more I thought about it, the more I felt: the butt is the most overlooked “soil” in the human body. We think it’s just for sitting. But it actually stores blood flow, vitality, grounding, and the projection of our internal organs.

The temperature of a person’s butt is like the temperature of soil: cold soil grows nothing; warm soil grows everything.

So I started observing my health through my butt. Am I low on vitality today? Has my energy sunk too far down? Have I been still for too long,
living too long like someone without life force?

My butt taught me the most easily ignored places often hide the most honest truths.
