🎐 XC Scribbles 008 - ✨The Starting Point Was Wrong
Lately I’ve been playing TUNIC.
Beautiful visuals. Music that feels just right. But the hardest part isn’t fighting monsters, it’s finding the clues.
You can win the battles and still have no idea where to go. The map is open, yet you don’t know where you’re standing.
Sometimes I followed other people’s paths, only to drift further off course. The more effort I put in, the more lost I felt.
Later I realized, the clues were always right at my feet. On doors. On the ground. In symbols I’d walked past again and again.
It wasn’t that the world gave no hints. I was simply standing in the wrong place to understand them.
When the starting point is wrong, every step becomes damage control. When it’s right, the path lights itself up no explanation needed.
That’s when it clicked: most of the time, we’re not stuck. We’re just looking from the wrong angle.
It’s not a lack of ability. Not a lack of effort. It’s using someone else’s map
to walk a path meant only for you.
Once the starting point is right, the whole world starts speaking back.
