🎐 XC Scribbles 003 - ✨The Wisdom of Updating

Some knowledge, if you don’t learn it or keep postponing it, gets replaced by a newer version in the blink of an eye.

I think about the hours I once spent mastering Photoshop. Masks, paths, layers, shortcuts, memorized one by one, executed step by step.

Back then, it felt professional. Solid. Earned.

Looking back now, there’s only one quiet realization: today, a single click does it all.

It’s not that I learned the wrong things. It’s that the effort belonged to a different era. What once felt indispensable has slowly become a footnote of time.

Those skills didn’t disappear. They simply stopped being the only path to an outcome.

That’s when it hit me— life follows the same structure.

There are things we desperately try to catch up on: concepts we want to fully understand, lessons we rush to complete, afraid of falling behind, missing out, being unprepared.

But with time, we realize some roads were never mandatory.

Not all knowledge needs to be completed. Not every blank has to be filled. Some things can truly be left unlearned, and life will still keep flowing.

This isn’t laziness. It’s a form of trust— in change itself.

As the world continues to update, what matters isn’t how many techniques you hold onto, but whether you can let go, allowing yourself to stop clinging to outdated versions of effort.

Some wisdom isn’t about learning faster. It’s about knowing when you can finally rest, and choose not to learn at all.
